My name is Marty Walker and I am a Professor of Nursing in the ASN program and in the RN-BSN nursing program at Northwest Florida State College. I graduated from Broward Community College in Davie, FL with A.S. degree in nursing and from Florida International University (FIU)
in Miami, FL with a Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing. In
2003, I earned an MSN from Barry University located in South
Florida.
I am currently working on a post master’s certificate in Advanced Family
Nursing at the University of South Alabama.

| My
experience in nursing has occurred in Indiana, Kentucky and
Florida. I have been involved in clinical education as well
as various levels of academic teaching. I have taught full
time for Ivy Tech State College in Sellersburg, IN, Mercy
Hospital School of Practical Nursing and as an adjunct
instructor for Barry University and FIU
in Miami, FL. In 2004 I taught full-time at Pensacola Junior College and as an adjunct at OWC. In 2005, I made the move to a full-time position at Northwest Florida State College (formerly OWC) and became a part of this great team. |
